How do we pay?
Payment can be made via BACS, online bank transfer, paypal or credit card.
How long does it take to get set up on the platform?
The onboarding process is quick and easy, and can get underway as soon as payment has been received – usually you will be up and running in as little as 24 hours.
Are there any restrictions on how many people you can have on the platform?
Providing that the users registered on the platform are currently directly affiliated with the school as either staff, governors or volunteers, there is no limit to the number of users you can have registered on the platform.
Do the courses have assessments?
Most of the courses include questions during the course and or a formal assessment at the end. Some of our wellbeing courses however, include reflective questions for the learner to consider, in place of a formal assessment.
Will I get a certificate?
Every learner has the opportunity to print out a dated certificate upon successful completion of the course. A digital record of the completed course and score will also be stored on the platform.
Will I need training on how to use the platform?
The platform is modern and intuitive which should enable you to get up and running quickly and easily. A dedicated Account Manager however who will help get you set up and started with the platform. Should you need any ongoing support our UK based support team is available for any further help you need.
Do you have other courses and solutions too?
RealSense has a library of over 100 e-learning courses, toolkit resources and assessments that can be added to the platform upon request, for an additional fee. Please ask our team about our extended library.
Can I add my own learning resources or can you customise some of our learning materials?
We can upload industry standard learning resources onto the platform as well as policies, procedures and other materials. We can also customise existing learning course and create learning resources for your specific training needs. Please ask our team for more information.
How do you protect my personal information?
RealSense takes the protection and management of your personal information very seriously. As a UK based business our handling of your information is controlled by the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the Data Protection, Privacy and Electronic Communications (Amendments etc) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019.
We take great care to protect your personal information or anything which might identify you personally.
What happens to my data if I no longer use the RealSense platform or its courses?
Where there is a legal obligation to retain your information for a certain period of time, we will do so in order to comply with the legal requirement.
Statutory retention periods do vary for different types of record so we retain records for at least 6 years providing you with the audit trail / evidence you may need in case of any legal action.
Our online learning platform, Activbase, will store and retain learner record data for the duration of your agreement and for a period of at least 6 years after the expiry date of your platform end date.
At this point, when your data is no longer required it will be deleted, if it is possible to do so. If it is not technically possible to delete the data then sufficient controls will be put in place to ensure it can no longer be used.
